OAPI Union Patent Agreement
OAPI is the union office of the French speaking African countries in the field of Industrial property. Member states are:

Central African Republic
Chad
Comoros

Equatorial Guinea
Gabon, Guinea
Guinea-Bissau
Senegal and Togo
Ivory Coast
Mali
Mauritania
Niger
As of May 2013, in cases where OAPI countries are preferred for applications within the scope of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), rights can be established in these countries with a single application directly through OAPI.
