Trademark Monitoring

Registering a trademark doesn't mean it's fully protected. Monitoring is the only method to prevent the registration of an application that is the same or similar to the registered trademark.

This service is the follow-up of the trademarks applied to the Turkish Patent Institute and announced in the Official Trademark Bulletin through advanced programs and legal evaluation of trademark applications that are indistinguishable and reported to our customers.

Thanks to the trademark monitoring system, it will be possible to examine the Official Trademark Bulletin, which is published regularly by the Turkish Patent Institute every month and where an average of 3000 trademark applications are announced, to identify and object to and cancel the same or indistinguishable trademarks to your trademark while they are still in the application stage.

Trademark Monitoring Service Content

 1. The Trademark Monitoring Service is the detection and notification of the same or similar registered trademark from the trademark releases that TPI publishes every month. It does not include market monitoring.

 2. Monthly reporting is made to the client when the same or similar trademark is detected.

 3. This service consists of only detection and notification in terms of content. The request for opposition after notification is up to the registered trademark owner (client).

 4. Trademark monitoring service is provided annually (12 months) for trademark or trademarks belonging to the enterprise or individual.

 5. A single fixed fee is charged for up to two trademarks of the trademarks owner, if the number of trademarks to be monitored is more than two, additional charges are made. If the client has more than one trademark and sub-brands of this main trademark, it is considered as a single trademark.

Even if the application determined during the implementation of the Trademark Monitoring Service is a client of our company, it is made to the registered trademark owner who receives notification service.
